1. The Bible is the verbally inspired word of God and is the revelation of
God to man. The scriptures are both efficient and sufficient to meet all
of man's needs for life and Godliness (2Tim. 3:15-17, 2Pet. 1:21).
2. The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self
existent "I am", the creator of the universe and has shown Himself to
exist as Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Deut. 6:4, Isa. 43:10,
Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22).
3. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. His virgin birth
(Matt.1:23), sinless life (Heb. 7:26), miracles (Acts 2:22), substitutionary
work in the cross (1Cor. 15:3), bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6),
exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9), and His soon coming return
to earth demonstrate these truths clearly.
4. Although created good and upright, man willfully chose to
rebel against God. Because of man's sin, mankind incurred both physical
and spiritual death and was separated from God (Rom. 5:12-19).
5. Salvation for "whosoever will" is provided for by the shed
blood of Jesus Christ. Through the gracious gift of God's only begotten
Son, the Father has provided the only way whereby man can be saved
through repentance from sin and faith towards God (Eph. 2:8-9). Salvation
is evidenced by the inward witness of the Holy Ghost (Rom. 8:16) and the
outward witness of holiness and separation from the things of this world
unto the Lord (Eph. 4:24).
6. Baptism in water for believers is commanded by scripture
(Matt. 28:19) as well as the celebration of the Lord's Supper
(1Cor. 11:26). These ordinances are to celebrate the reality of Christ
alive in a believers life and are for the believer only.
7. Every believer should hunger and thirst after the self denying,
cross bearing life of the Spirit filled believer. The Holy Spirit will
fill any and all yielded brethren with His power for service (Eph. 5:18).
8. All believers, empowered by the Spirit, are to lead a life of
separation from the world (Eph. 5:1-12), from all false doctrine and false
teachers (Rom. 16:17, 1John 1:8-11), and from unruly brothers who refuse to
repent (2Thes. 3:6, 1Tim. 6:5).
9. The Church universal consists of all born again believers who
have been placed in the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 12:13).
The local expression of the Church universal is small intimate groups
where the priesthood of all believers results in community, accountability,
discipline, spontaneity, and the open expression of the family nature of
Christ's Church.
10. All believers are grace gifted and have a place and function
in the body of Christ. All of the gifts of Rom. 12, 1Cor. 12 and Eph. 4 are
in operation and functioning in the Church today.
11. All believers will experience either the resurrection from
the dead or will be snatched away when Jesus Christ returns for His own
(1Thes. 4:16-17, Rom. 8:23, Tit. 2:13).
12. All unbelievers will experience both His wrath and His judgment when He returns (Matt. 25:46, Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15).
13. All believers will live forever in the new heavens and the
new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2Pet. 3:13).
